Christmas Eve Service

Tonight, we had the privilege of joining up with Desperation Life Fellowship to celebrate Christmas Eve. We were given the opportunity to go through the story of Luke Chapter 2 (the birth of Christ) and celebrate Love, Joy, Hope and Peace by lighting a candle to signify each one. Pastor Cassidy brought forth the word tonight as well and we finished with singing Silent Night.

2012 Christmas SingSpiration Service

This morning we had the privilege of having 3 different members of our congregation share from the word of God. Rick Sweeney, Susan Burns, and Susan Metro.
We were also blessed to have some of our young girls from the Youth Ministry perform a dance to a song. Laronda and Tom Burns played Silent Night on the piano in a dedication to one our Sunday School teachers Guenter Feucht sung in German. Also, we had a song performance "Mary Did You Know' by Trish from our congregation.

It was a great service and well worth the listen.

This Is Jesus: The King of The Jews

This morning Pastor Cassidy brought forth the word instilling and reminding us the clock is ticking and we need to be ready for Jesus' return. We need to examine ourselves and be sure we are walking in Him.

John 19:19-23

19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews.
20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.
23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

The points of the sermon were:
1. Jesus is The Almighty King
2. Jesus is The Generous King
3. Jesus is The Ruling King
4. Jesus is The Coming King
