To Obey Christ is Better

1 Samuel 15:22
22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

1 Peter 1:2
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Earmarks of a Disciple

This morning we were blessed to have David Coram share the testimony of his successful surgery and the comfort he received from God throughout the entire ordeal. We were also blessed to have Pamela, one of our youth share the impact the movie, "God's Not Dead" had on her life and actions.

This morning we were blessed as our guest speakers Pastor John Gordan and his wife, Julie share the word of the God and their testimony of a missions trip to Uganda to share the gospel.
